Download The First Global Sikh Civil Rights Report 2008http://unitedsikhs.org/rtt/sikhconf/FirstGlobalSikhCivilRightsReport.pdf - Sikh Coalition The Sikh Coalition is a community-based organization that works towards the realization of civil and human rights for all people. In particular, we work towards a world where Sikhs may freely practice and enjoy their faith while fostering strong relations with their local community wherever they may be.
- Sikh Council UK The Sikh Council is an accord of UK based Gurdwaras, Sikh institutions and organisations and counts amongst its members all major Gurdwaras and leading Sikh organisations. The Council is designed for the 21st Century with a central ethos of accountability. For many years Sikhs have been working hard to ensure Sikh views are represented and the Government properly consults them. Sikhs have traditionally organised themselves through Gurdwaras and bespoke organisations, a new type of structure was needed to complement existing institutions that would take into account the diversity within the Sikh community, be inclusive and embrace as well as utilise the skills available, rather than relying on old style non elected community leaders to represent them.
